The finished wedding dress is only the final chapter. Before satin and tulle become a bridal gown, the design is shaped through pattern development, fabric preparation, construction and fitting.
The silhouette is developed first. Proportion, neckline placement, waist position and skirt volume are considered before the final satin and tulle layers are constructed.
The bodice is constructed to create the clean strapless shape, while the internal structure helps the gown maintain its form as the bride moves.
Smooth satin creates the polished bridal surface, while soft tulle adds lightness and volume to the floor length A line skirt.
